The United State embassy in Ghana has refuted claims that Archbishop Duncan Williams has been banned from entering the States for refusing to Officiate a gay marriage.
Social media was set a blazed this Sunday when news of the archbishop’s banned got out.
But the U.S embassy posted on its official twitter hand that the news was false.
Tweet on the Embassy’s twitter handle Sunday read:
Please be advised: Reports that Archbishop Duncan Williams has been banned from traveling to the United States are a complete fabrication.

It was reported by ghpage.com that, Archbishop Duncan Williams has been banned from entering the U.S for refusing to Officiate the marriage of two couples.
The information gathered by ghpage.com further explain that, that punitive action was taken by the embassy after one of the couple who is an American citizen petitioned the embassy of the Pastors refusal to Officiate their wedding.
The publication quoted the renowned bishop as saying “gay marriage is a sin against by teachings.
He further told the couple who approached him that ” Marriages are meant for man and woman, not man and man. I do not officiate such marriages,” the bishop allegedly concluded.
