Nana Akufo Addo to Shatta Wale as he has responded to a tweet from Shatta
Dancehall King Shatta Wale had said categorically that he’s not endorsing any political party, however, he will take it as business as usual and mount your campaign platform, perform his songs and take his money.
I agree to this as he is a musician, feeds his family from doing music, however, I don’t see whats wrong with mounting a stage of an organized political party event.
Though he has publicly stated and denied of not endorsing any party, the ruling National Democratic Congress have continued to use his hit single ‘Mahama Paper’ at every campaign event.
The NPP,New Patriotic Party, has also started using Shatta Wale’s Kakai song,especially when the vice presidential candidate was about to speak at their campaign launch.
After NPP’s Manifesto launch,Charles Nii Armah tweeted that he didn’t even know Nana Addo was his fan, and that Nana Addo is indeed coming into power like Kakai. Guess Nana Addo’s reply?
He tweeted, “I never knew Nana Akuffo was a great fan …U deh come like kakai ampa …This years politics is called shattatics”

Nana Addo Danquah obviously had to reply the dancehall king and this is what he wrote;
“@shattawalegh, YES! I’m a big fan.”
