An old video showing Odo Broni as a young girl walking alongside the late highlife legend Charles Kwadwo Fosu, popularly known as Daddy Lumba, has resurfaced online.
The footage, which was recorded in 2012, captures the two at the airport following Daddy Lumba’s arrival in Ghana from abroad.
Since re-emerging on social media, the video has fueled fresh speculation among fans and commentators, many of whom see it as evidence of a long-standing relationship that had largely remained out of the public eye.
Daddy Lumba, widely regarded as one of Ghana’s greatest highlife musicians, was known for being intensely private about his personal life despite his immense fame.
For years, little was publicly known about his relationships, a situation that changed only after his death, which opened the floodgates to numerous claims, counterclaims, and controversies.
Some reports suggest that Daddy Lumba first met Odo Broni around 2006, when she was reportedly in her final year at Ashley College.
However, details surrounding how their relationship developed have never been officially confirmed by the late musician, leaving much of the narrative to speculation.
Following Daddy Lumba’s passing, Odo Broni has frequently been at the centre of public controversy, particularly in relation to the musician’s first wife, Akosua Serwaa.
