Follwing the NPP’s historic defeat in the 2024’S general elections, there have been growing tensions in the political party.
The blame games have started and the current MP for Subin, Hon.Eugene Boakye Antwi has been very vocal about Nana Addo, Ken Ofori Atta and Gabby Otchere Darko being the reasons the lost.
As we all know, Kennedy Agyapong contested with Dr Bawumia, Kwabena Agyapong, Alan Kyeremateng and many other NPP bigwigs in the flagbearership position.
Following the growing tensions and the need to restore things to order immediately, some factions in the NPP have started campaigning for Kennedy Agyapong as the party’s next flagbearer.
At the moment, a dozen Kennedy Agyapong for 2028 posters have taken over in Kumasi.
