An embattled veteran Actor TT after public ridicule has explained his earlier statement made in the leaked audio that went viral yesterday.
In an interview with Takoradi’s Empire FM, TT revealed that he used the money to buy a piece of land for 30,000 cedis and then used the rest to buy a car for his lone son to use as a taxi.
He said; “Taking note of the situation, the whole world had their eye on the money so I should be very careful how I use the money, so I got two plots of land which I paid for one with ready cash I’m yet to pay for the other one.”
”My son says he wants to be a driver, he’s been to driving school but for two years he’s been at home, and he was becoming frustrated, so I told him to pray that something good happens so that I buy him a car to use.”
“So when the Vice President gave me the money, after putting down 30,000 cedis to purchase a plot of land and the remaining 20,000 cedis I said this is the time for me to do something for my son, so I bought home- used a taxi in a very good condition for him,” the veteran actor explained.
Despite his explanation seems some section of Ghanaians are still not convinced with it and are asking different questions about the said monies he received.
