It has been confirmed by Kwesi Appiah that the squad for the Black Stars participation in the upcoming Cup of Nations has been reduced from 29 to the final 23 man squad.
Coach Kwesi Appiah revealed the shortened list yesterday, after observing the players in training since camping started over a week ago in Dubai.

Players dropped from the team include Majeed Waris, Ebenezer Ofori, Mohammed Alhassan, Abdul Fatawu and Yaw Yeboah.
The Black Stars play South Africa in a pre-tournament friendly on June 15th before leaving the Emirates for Egypt.
