Ghpage.com reported yesterday, 5th January that ace journalist, Managing Editor of the Al-Hajj newspaper, and The political commentator Alhaji Bature is dead. He died at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital after a very short illness.

1. He died at the age of 60

Alhaji Bature, the National Democratic Congress sympathizer died at the age of 60. He lived most of his life in Ghana but at a point moved to America before coming home finally to settle down.

2. He is the founder of the Al-Hajj newspaper

The outspoken NDC Alhaji Bature was not just the Managing Editor of the Al-Hajj newspaper, he was also the founder of the popular newspaper.

3. He died of stroke

According to report gathered from the family of the late political commentator, he died from a stroke. Alhaji suffered a stroke in his bathroom a couple of weeks before the end of 2017 and he finally gave in at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.

4. grew up in Nima

The late founder and managing editor of Alhaji Newspaper, Alhaji Bature grew up in the town of Nima, a suburb of Accra. He considers himself a Nima boy having lived most of his life in Nima. He also started several businesses in Nima before he passed on.
