A Christmas carol that was interlaced with political displeasure aimed at the erstwhile Mahama administration composed by some Joy FM journalists has resurfaced.
The song was composed at a time where Ghana was in a state of economic quagmire made worse by the unreliable supply of water and electricity.
Following that, the journalists decided to compose a song out of the popular Christmas carol in order to drive home the collective grievances of the populace and to put the plights of the citizenry at the time into proper perspective.
In the studios of JOY FM, four energetic men with their coarse voices sang their lungs out as they lambasted former President Mahama for failing to deliver.
The song covered areas such as labour agitations, Dumsor, water crisis, economic hardship amongst others.
What has changed? Why are these journalists no more composing on-the-spot Christmas carols to criticize the current government? Have they lost their vocal cords?
Those are some of the questions the video after it resurfaced has garnered.
