This year promises a whole lot of surprises and movies happen to be an integral part of it. There are great movies you can’t afford to miss because they will keep you glued to your screens.

Below are five of the “baddest” movies to expect in 2020.

  1. No Time To Die

No Time To Die is an action movie starring Daniel Craig (James Bond), Ralph Fiennes, Rami Malek, Naomie Harris, Lea Seydoux, Ben Whishaw, Rory Kinnear, Jeffrey Wright, Ana de Armas and Lashana Lynch. In No Time To Die, Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology. The movie, which was directed by Cary Fukunaga will be released on 8th April 2020.

2. Bad Boys for life

Bad boy for life is a buddy-cop action comedy where Old-school cops Mike Lowery and Marcus Burnett who have both become Head of AMMO and Police Inspector respectively team up to take down the Armando Armas the vicious leader of a Miami drug cartel whose brother, they defeated years earlier.
Armando Armas makes a retaliation effort on Mike just as both he and Marcus are about to officially retire and this pissed them off. What will they do to the leader of the Miami drug cartel? Wait till the January 17, 2020 to find out! The movie was directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, with Will Smith and Martin Lawrence as lead actors.

3. Top Gun: Maverick

In the movie Top Gun: Maverick, Pete “Maverick” Mitchell (Tom Cruise) is back to riding motorcycles, playing volleyball, and flying jets like a madman. Here he is after more than thirty years of service as one of the Navy’s top aviators, Maverick pushes the envelope as a courageous test pilot and dodges the advancement in rank that seeks to ground him. When he finds himself training a detachment of Top Gun graduates for a specialized mission, the likes of which no living pilot has ever seen, Maverick encounters Lt. Bradley Bradshaw call sign: the son of Maverick’s late best friend and Radar Intercept Officer Lt. Nick Bradshaw. Facing an uncertain future and confronting the ghosts of his past, Maverick is drawn into a confrontation with his own deepest fears, culminating in a mission that demands the ultimate sacrifice from those who will be chosen to fly it.The American action drama film was directed by Joseph Kosinski and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, Tom Cruise and David Ellison. It is set to be premiered on the 26th June 2020.

4. Bloodshot

Marine Ray Garrison (Vin Diesel) is reborn by a team of scientists after he and his wife get suddenly assassinated by unknown assailants. Enhanced with nanotechnology, he becomes a superhuman, biotech killing machine – Bloodshot.
As Ray first trains with fellow super-soldiers, he struggles to recall anything from his previous years. But when his memories flood back and he remembers the man that killed both him and his wife, he breaks out of the facility hellbent on revenge, only to discover that there’s more to the conspiracy than he originally felt. Bloodshot movie was directed by Dave Wilson with Vin Diesel, Eiza Gonzalez, Sam Heughan as lead actors. The movie will be premiered on the 13th of March 2020.

5. Mulan

This epic action drama movie is set on the premise that a young fearless lady Hua Mulan tries to save her ailing father from serving in the Imperial Army, after the Emperor of China issued a decree that one man per family must serve in the Imperial Chinese Army to defend the country from the Huns. Disguised as a man, she steps in to take the place of her ailing father to defeat the enemies of their kingdom. The movie was directed by Niki Caro and produced by Walt Disney Pictures. It is set to premier on the 27th March 2020.
