Multiple award-winning Ghanaian dancehall artist, Shatta Wale known in real life as Charles Nii Armah Mensah disclosed in an interview somewhere in November last year that, so far as he is concerned, Nigerian singer and songwriter, Wizkid is not a “superstar”.
He believes that his colleague musicians more or less ‘fear’ Wizkid and as a matter of fact rate him high.
He said on Kasapa FM during an interview that,“I will not see Wizkid and be stunned, I rather want him to see me and be amazed because I don’t see anything extraordinary about him, even though he claims to the best African artiste…”.
Since then, many fans have been waiting for a response from Wizkid.
Finally, Wizkid has replied him and it’s all love.

Wizkid who was unveiled as one of the headline artists for the 2018 edition of Ghana Meets Naija concert, was interviewed on phone during the launch of the concert.
After speaking about what people should expect, he gave Shatta Wale a shout out.
“I want to say shout out to Shatta Wale,” he said, laughed and dropped the call.
