A Look At The Top 5 Feuds In Ghana Music History

The Ghanaian music industry can be compared to life in the jungle where only the strongest can survive.

Musicians going head-to-head in the music industry is something that we cannot stop from happening.

Most Feuds may die off when one of the parties involved fails to respond or when both sides involved in the feud decide to apologize to each other and move on.

For us, we will be really happy if there is a music industry without feuds but what else can we do if musicians decide to fire shots at each other.

There is only one option, that is to stay out of the way and see what happens in the end.

Let’s take a look at some feuds that have taken place in the Ghana music industry;

1. Sarkodie vs M.anifest

This is one of the most recent battles of words we have had in the Ghana music industry. Two of our best rappers in the industry decided to go head to head.

It all started when Sarkodie in his “Bossy” track bragged about how he is second to none in Ghana and beyond and thought about why people talk of rappers and leave him out. He asked who was the best and answered that it was himself.

Manifest released his track “God MC” in response to Sarkodie and in one of his lines said, “Even my nonfa back then had sense in it.”

Sarkodie later went on to release a new track where he takes a swipe at Manifest and just as we expect the response followed.

Even though the feud has died out a bit, Ghanaians are still wondering who the best rapper is.
