Musician cum politician Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as A Plus has responded to Social Media critics who seem to be shocked by the drastic change in the complexion of his wife, Akosua Bannerman, also known as Akosua Vee.
A few weeks ago, a photo of Ghanaian female musician, Becca went viral on various social media platforms accusing her of bleaching her skin.
While some ridiculed Becca for the act, a fake social media account purported to be A-Plus, joined the fray by launching what could be described as the most damning attack on Becca.
The said Facebook account bearing the name A Plus mocked Becca, “who is this Fake European Lady with original African Armpit”.

However, a few minutes later another social media user on Instagram responded to the fake account with before-and-after photos of A-Plus’ wife, Akosua Vee, comparing her to Becca and also mocked her in a similar fashion.
This has angered the musician, claiming he has not posted anything on Facebook about the musician, Becca.He added that he has so much respect for her and she is one of the Ghanaian female musicians he admires.
The musician in his initial reaction in a Facebook live video was not happy that some social media users, especially journalists and bloggers, are dragging him and his wife into the controversial photo accusing musician Becca, of bleaching.

His reaction on whether his wife has bleached, he claimed the photo of the dark-skinned lady in the before and after bleached trending photo of his wife is that his wife’s look-alike and not his wife.
The musician in a comical mood added that, when he saw that picture, he asked his wife if it’s indeed her and stated if it’s affirmative, then the wife should give her a doggy style in appreciation for taking care of her well.
So according to A Plus, the dark-complexioned lady you see in the gridded before and after bleached photo of his wife is not her — but rather someone who looks like his wife and people just want to use that to be mischievous.
