Ghana’s football super legend, Mr. Abedi Ayew Pele is now boiling with anger over claims that he was HIV positive by a former President of French football team, Olympic Marseille (OM) following his transfer from Mulhouse to Olympic Marseille.

Mr. Bernard Tapie Former president of the French football side Olympic Marseille, reveal that his former club signed Ghana’s Abedi Ayew Pele on what seems as an underground or sneaky tactics, The Ghanaian football legend, doesn’t seem to have gone down very well with the former president.

The Marseille former president in an interview with Le Monde revealed that he planned with some officials at AS Monaco football team in order to build up the false rumor that Abedi Pele was HIV positive, something the former OS boss knew perfectly would break down Monaco’s interest in signing the player.

Former president Mr. Bernard Tapie again made a revelation that his club would not have gotten the opportunity to snatch Abedi Pele 30 years ago, had it not been for a clever artifice they employed, that the young Ghanaian footballer was HIV positive.

Now Abedi Ayew Pele has revealed in an interview with Kasapa FM, that he was completely unaware of the entire situation. According to the legend, Mr. Tapie, in his move to secure his [Pele] signature may have gone beyond the line and gone too far in other to get him.

“I was totally oblivious when it comes to that issue but he went too far. I feel he overstepped his boundaries if his real intention was to ward off competition from rivals. I am very glad the truth has been revealed now making whatever was said impertinently.” Said Abedi Pele, in an interview with Kasapa Sports.
