The General Overseer of Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor W.F. Kumuyi has sparked up a debate on social media after he said to his congregation last Sunday that it was an abomination for women to wear men clothes and vice versa.
According to him, the holy book of the Christians which is the Bible asked that men shouldn’t wear ladies dress because it was an abomination in the sight of God.
The Pastor who was preaching on the topic “The Inner and Outward Beauty of Kingdom Citizens.” stressed that it would have looked absurd to see him(the preacher) standing in front of him whiles in ladies attire.

He went on to tell his congregation that though the standard of the world would change that of God would remain the same and that he would still frown on people wearing the opposite sex attire.
He further admonished Christians not to give in to the things of the world and stay adherent to God’s Word and his principles.
Pastor W.F Kumuyi added that the outward beauty of the world is laced with pride and arrogance and that the inner beauty gotten through Salvation in Christ should be coveted by all as such would lead to heaven.
Now, the bone of contention here is, is the man of God trying to say the Christian preachers who allow their church members and even their wives to put on trousers do not read the Bible? or it’s just one of the beliefs of his church.
