Coach Kwesi Appiah, the head coach for the Sudanese National team, would face off with the 2019 AFCON Champion Algeria, Burkina Faso and Equatorial Guinea in this year’s competition.
The Confederation of African Football yesterday January 27, 2025, organised the Final Draw for the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), Morrocco.
The event was held in the Mohammed V National Theatre in Rabat at 19h00 local time.
The 24 qualified teams were drawn into six groups containing four sides, with host nation Morocco at Group A’s head.
Current TotalEnergies CAF AFCON champions Cote d’Ivoire have been drawn with Cameroon, Gabon and Mozambique.
