Controversial Media Personality, Afia Schwarzenegger born Valentina Nana Agyeiwa has joined the conversation about the Ghanaian Pastor, Ofori Sylvester who recently shot his wife 7 times to death in Orlando, USA.
The mother of twins in an Instagram post seemingly infuriated by the pastor’s act of killing his wife remarked that marriage is not a yardstick for success and it doesn’t define women hence it’s needful for one to flee from an abusive marriage.
Afia Schwar perturbed about the situation sent out to women that an abusive marriage can block one’s shine in life.
Having a good personal share of the bitter cake of marriage in the hands of her ex-husband, Lawrence Abrokwa, the media personality knows how it feels to be a woman in that shoes.
Evidently, her reaction is not just centred on the Pastor’s alone but she included her own experience of marriage to advise women not to follow the norms of society by staying mute in an abusive relationship.
She stated that women should know that if they die as a result of abuse from their husbands, society would just mourn with them and life would go on as usual. No one cares for the dead!
At the last bit of her post on Instagram, Afia Schwar revealed that the best blessing she has given herself is divorce so her fellow women should learn from her and take the bold step.
Adding that women should take bold steps to report their abusers to the appropriate authorities to save their lives from ugly hands like Tammey Barbara’s husband, Pastor Sylvester Ofori.
According to her post, she wrote;
“Dear women, Marriage do not define us,it is not a yardstick for success…A man that can hit you can kill you….Anyone that abuses you also block your blessings as well ….No man that loves you will use unprintable words on you nor raise his filthy hands on you. Do not be fooled by society..because all you will get from society is Sorry, RIP , Damrifa Due etc ..And please report your abusers, don’t take any threat for granted. To think that this beautiful damsel died in the hands of this ugly man with extra teeth is so so sad .. Till today I will say the best gift I gave myself is DIVORCE… Learn from me…Leave To Live.

News broke on Tuesday, August 8, 2020, about a Pastor named Sylvester Ofori shooting his wife, Barbara Tammey, to death at Navy Federal Credit Union near the Mall at Millenia in Orlando, USA.
Sylvester’s actions resulted in him being detained as he is currently in police custody at the Orange County Jail without bond on a charge of first-degree murder with a firearm.
