Afia Schwarzenegger has waded into the weed legalisation agenda by some advocates pledging support for Kwame Sefa Kayi for championing the course.
According to Afia Schwar, it’s a good move which when legalised will help some celebrities to do it publicly.

Afia Schwar in the video below mentioned named of celebrities who in one way or the other have also campaigned for the legalisation for of the weed.
She mentioned Blakk Rasta, Countryman Songo, Abeiku Santana, Samini, Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, Kwaw Kese, KK Fosu, Shatta Michy, Abrewa Nana, herself among others as celebrities who have declared their ‘weed-smoking’ status.
There have been calls on the Government of Ghana on many occasions to legalize Marijuana in the country by some advocates who believe legalizing the hard drug would help improve the hard economic situation in the country.
Ace broadcast journalist, Kwame Sefa Kayi added his voice to the calls for the legalisation of marijuana in Ghana calling on the Akufo Addo-led government to legalise Indian hemp in Ghana.
The 2016 GJA Journalist of the Year said marijuana is useful for medicinal and research purposes, and when put into good use will be a great avenue for socio-economic development.
“I am an advocate for it. So that’s my bias; I am for it…We have what they call social and recreational, that is one leg. I am not for that. There are a research and medicinal. I am for that”, he claimed.
“Unfortunately, in our growing up and everything; it’s been social and recreational we’ve looking at. So, we’re programmed to see it as a bad thing but the research and medicinal is a completely different era”.
