Claudine, 22, has accepted marriage to a 76-year-old church worker in what she has promised will be a lifelong union.
She admitted that she never expected to fall in love with a man her grandfather’s age, but she has never regretted her decision because he makes her happy in a way no other man has.
And described how she met David for the first time in church, where he worked as a full-time intercessor and evangelist, in Afrimax English.
She stated at the time that their friendship ended with just a Christian conversation, but as they met frequently, they formed a close bond.
Despite their age difference, she claims their hearts connected and they both realized “love is all that matters, and love does not judge.” “It doesn’t matter how old you are; a loving heart is enough.”
When asked if her parents supported her decision, Claudine stated that they gave their full blessings for the marriage, and an engagement was held as a result.
It was a magical moment for them, but the reaction of their friends and neighbors was not.
Claudine stated that she was not looking for possessions, contrary to what society perceived as the reason for marrying an elderly man, and that the man has none anyway.
“He always makes me happy and lifts me up.” “He was able to fill the missing spot that no other younger man could,” she said as they kissed.
David, who had never been in a relationship before, stated that the way Claudine treats him convinced him that she was his perfect match.
He went on to say that a voice from Heaven confirmed that she is his missing rib, and that he then quit his job as an intercessor. There is no turning back for him.
With four years behind them and many more ahead of them, the couple is planning a lavish white wedding in the coming days. They also intend to have children shortly after.
