Akon’s Konvict to sign J Derobie – Bola Ray

Empire Entertainment CEO Nathan Kwabena Anokye Adisi known in showbiz as Bola Ray has revealed that Ghanaian Dancehall artiste J Derobie is likely to join Akon’s Konvict music in the coming months.

Bola Ray who also happens to be the main brain behind Ghana Meets Naija concert make this announcement at KikiBees night club where they held a party ahead of Ghana Meets Naija 2019.

He thanks Nigerian artiste Mr. Eazi for bringing J Derobie to the limelight and for how far he has brought him.

Bola made mention that if everything goes on well as planned then latest by September the ‘Poverty’ hitmaker would be announced as the newest signee for the label.

J Derobie was among the few chosen for a project launched by Mr. Eazi which was named the EMPAWA 100 project and promised to shoot music videos for 100 upcoming artists who were chosen. His song “Poverty” was his breakthrough.
