Akoo Nana, the newest artist signed unto Nana Appiah Mensah’s Zylofon Media has sent a strong warning to Nana Akufo-Addo, the president of Ghana. According to Akoo Nana, Nana Akufo-Addo will lose the 2020 elections if he does not stop the witch hunt against Nana Appiah Mensah’s Menzgold.
In a short video posted on his Instagram page, Akoo revealed he worked hard to support Nana Addo win the 2016 election and he won’t vote for NPP again if they keep hunting Menzgold.

He angrily attacked Ghanaian leaders for being against everything Ghanaian. He cited the example of Kantanka vehicles not getting the needed support. He even said he (Kantanka) is being hunted by Ghanaian leaders.
The Kasoa based artist said:
“Anything Ghanaian, we don’t want to support it. Bank of Ghana, what is your problem? You said Menzgold has no license, meanwhile, they do. Why are we like that?” he queried.
“president, step into this thing because you gave us your word that you’ll make Ghana attractive to investors but look at what is happening. Please stop these people… If they don’t stop this, we won’t vote for NPP in 2020. You know the work we did for NPP to come to power.” Akoo Nana added

His warning comes at a time when Bank of Ghana has put out a notice warning Ghanaians that Menzgold is not licensed to operate in Ghana.
Bank of Ghana on Tuesday, August 7th, 2018, released a statement to the public that it is in discussions with relevant regulatory authorities to sanction Menzgold Company Limited for engaging in “solicitation, receipt of money or investment and the payment of dividends or returns to its clients” without a license to do so.

Nana Appiah Mensah the CEO of Menzgold with a cheeky answer stated that Bank of Ghana is not it’s regulator but the Precious Minerals Marketing Company (PMMC) has also come out to state that they have revoked the license of Menzgold. Menzgold says they are licensed with the Minerals Commission.
It appears overnight, almost everyone who is enjoying some of the dollars from Nana Appiah Mensah (Some of them who has never even stepped a foot in a classroom before) has turned economists and now know far better than the Bank of Ghana and won’t allow the central bank to do its work. They want to dictate to the Central bank with their class two mathematics.
