The lawmaker for North Tongu and minority spokesperson on Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa not happy about the utilization of the country’s scarce resources under the current government.
The member of parliament, therefore, expressed worry that the country and taxpayers are now going to spend more to pay for two former governors and two former deputy governors who resigned even before their time was due.
He then quizzed the government, why the Governors and Deputy Governors who resigned decide to succumb to pressures rather than stand up to principle and test the law.

“If Ghana was your company will you run it that way? Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa on Joy FM’s news analysis programme ‘Newsfile’ on Saturday made a rhetorical question to President Akufo-Addo.
He further said, “that is the problem I have, financial loss to the state and waste of resources, we don’t need that,” the former Deputy Minister of Education revealed during a panel discussion.
The lawmaker, however, admonished the governors who feel unfairly treated should go to court and challenge the decision.
