Music group, Alabaster Box has threatened a lawsuit against “Omo Ada” hitmaker, Medikal.

The music group has issued a communique dated April 8, accusing the rapper of sampling their song.
According to them, the first 10 seconds of Medikal’s new song dubbed “Welcome to Africa” infringes on their copyright.
They claim the first time seconds is a sample of their “Akwaaba” song.
They have therefore asked Medikal to delete the song from all digital platforms, asking for a detailed account of all revenue generated from the promotion, distribution, performance, and marketing of the song in question.
They added that failure on the part of Medikal to do what they have asked him to do force them to take a legal action against him.
