Award-winning songstress, Wendy Addo known in entertainment circles as Wendy Shay says her album titled “Shay on You” sold very well and met the expected market target hence did extremely well.
She described the album as one of the most popular albums released last year.
The “Bedroom Commando” hitmaker on Thursday, December 20, 2018, had a private launch for her maiden album, “Shay On You” at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Accra.
Speaking in an interview, she said, “I think that is one of the most popular albums released last year because where ever I pass I hear ‘Shay on You’. It actually shot to number three on Diza the first week it was released.”
“The album did very well and all the songs on it are ‘crazy’. I have like eight hit songs on it and people are also loving the slow tempo that is ‘Mama’ and ‘Keep me going’, she stated.
She added that “To be honest I don’t really follow all these kinds of streaming things, I will be there and they will bring me my ‘cut’ which is very satisfying”.

Wendy further disclosed that she is set to release another album by the close of this year. She also said her fans should expect a thrilling Shay Concert this year.
“God willing this year there will be an album, I’m gonna drop an album and they should be expecting the Shay Concert as well”, she hinted.
The album comprises of ten songs including Uber Driver, Astalavista. Bedroom Commando among others.
