Alleged NPP member arrest for attempting to commit suicide at Parliament House

An alleged member of the ruling party New Patriotic Party has been arrested by the police for attempting to commit suicide at the Parliament House earlier this morning.

According to a report sighted, the man identified as Kojo Mensah nearly succeeded in taking his own life at the Public Gallery of Parliament to the shock of MPs and others present.

Kojo Mensah was wearing an NPP t-shirt with the picture of NPP’s Member of Parliament for Kwesimintsim constituency, Joseph Mensah boldly printed on the front.

Kojo Mensah is currently in the grips of the police as they try to find out from him the main reason why he planned on taking his life.
