I think it’s high time the freedom of speech of some people is curtailed. Seeing that anyone can just open their mouth to spew garbage and expect everyone else to be okay with it.

Reason being that, it is been barely a week since AMG business signee, AMG Medikal took to his Instagram handle to declare himself as the saviour of Ghanaian rap music, saying that; the Ghanaian music scene was virtually dead until he came and revived it.

He wrote;

music 4  years ago I saved Ghanaian Rap music from dying and I promise to keep it alive”

His absurd declaration sparked controversies and invoked severe backlash on the AMG signed artiste. Now, struggling Ghanaian female singer, Sista Afia has taken to her Instagram account to declare that she also saved Ghanaian female music.

She shared a video of herself dancing and captioned it;

“4 years ago I also saved Ghana Female Music from dying! Am at Achimota Roundabout come and Beat me”

After reading her comments, one would clearly see the lie in it since Sista Afia has barely made any contribution to the Ghanaian music. If any one should say this, it should be the likes of Becca and Efya who have consistently stayed relevant in the Ghanaian music scene and given us back to hit over the years.
