Old school met the new school yesterday at the Dominion centre in London when Kuami Eugene joined Amakye Dede on stage to perform some of later’s old hit tracks.
Amakye Dede thrilled the audience with some amazing performance for over two hours and in the middle of it, invited Kuami Eugene on stage to perform —his arguably most popular hit song —’Akwadaa wesoa’ and it reignited the already charged audience.
The lynx entertainment artiste, as usual, didn’t disappoint as he kept singing verses of the song with his smooth voice.
The humble-looking Kuami Eugene continued to give out an impressive performance as that was an obvious climax of the musical concert which had sports presenter Countryman Songo as the host.

Kuami Eugene is undoubtedly one of the best if not the best afro-highlife artiste we have in Ghana today. He continues to churn out hit songs and the new school—as his genre and style are mostly referred to—dominate with the highlife mixed with Afro-pop.

Ghanaian musicians Amakye Dede, Lilwin and Kuami Eugene headlined the musical show organized by Salt media.
Interestingly, the organizer also happens to be the biological son of the ace musician Amakye Dede. So, a son brought the father on stage.
Kumawood actor Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin opened the floor with some energic performance.
Kuami Eugene took his turn to excite the audience and Nana Amakye Dede climax the event with, as usual, another amazing performance.
