Lawmaker Kennedy Agyapong who is currently on a business trip in China responded to the Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ suit via a telephone interview with the radio station. And according to the MP for Assin Central, he will pay the investigative journalist if he loses in court.
In a radio interview with Accra based Asempa FM this Friday afternoon, Mr. Agyapong boasted that what Anas was demanding was “too cheap.”
“I’m ready for him, ah! GH?25million?, I’m guilty, I’ll put it down mehnnn!!” He said.
He indicated that he is not afraid of Anas and is prepared to face him in court and also insisted he has evidence to support his allegations.
He added that he was happy about the development because it was falling in line with his plan to “unmask” Anas since, in court, he was will challenge Anas to take off his mask for the case to go ahead.
Mr. Agyapong said he was yet to be served with the writ but he was ready to face him in court “in style.”
“Nobody can intimidate me in Ghana,” he insisted.
