Ghanaian investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas, has sent a heartwarming welcome message to reggae and dancehall star, Buju Banton after his release from prison.
Grammy-winning reggae star Buju Banton became a free man after being imprisoned for a decade. The “Destiny” hitmaker, who spent ten years in federal prison, was released early Friday morning (December 7).

It would be recalled that ace investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas speaking on a special edition of the Joy FM’s Super Morning Show on Thursday, June 28, the revered journalist was asked of which genre of music he loves and his answer was straight; ”I love reggae music”.
Taking to Facebook to congratulate and welcome Buju Banton, Anas in reaction to a post by celebrated reggae musician, Gramps Morgan wrote: “Welcome home, great soldier.”
