The late J.B Danquah-Adu, former Abuakwa North Member of Parliament (MP) was stabbed to death on February 9, 2016, at his Shiashie residence in Accra. Daniel Asiedu who was the prime suspect was arrested two days after the incident with his accomplice picked several weeks later.

Assin Central Member of Parliament (MP), Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has called on Ghanaians to disregard claims by Daniel Asiedu, the ‘killer’ of former Abuakwa North Member of Parliament (MP), that some elements within the New Patriotic Party (NPP) contracted him to murder the legislator.

Sexy Don Don as he is called by friends claimed in his last court appearance that some NPP members which he failed to name contracted him to murder the MP with the promise of rewarding him when the party comes to power.

According to him, the contractors also promised to set him free upon the assumption of power.

Reacting to this comment on Accra-based Okay FM Monday as monitored, Ken Agyapong who has already accused ace investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas of having a hand in the murder of the late lawmaker said he knows for a fact that the journalist bribed the alleged killer to implicate NPP.

Anas, he said did this to divert attention from his earlier claims which implicates him.

“Anas bribed that guy, Sexy Don Don to implicate NPP and me in his murder, he has even gone ahead to tell the guy to name me as one of the killers…,” Ken claimed.

To him, Anas has told the killer to name him, Ken Agyapong, as someone who has a hand in the death of the MP.
This, he said is a means of ensuring that he, Ken Agyapong will be disgraced in the eyes of the public.

Daniel Asiedu and one other person, Vincent Bosso, have been charged with murder and abetment of the murder of the late MP.
