Bill Asamoah, the Kumawood star and Ashanti Regional President of Actors Guild last Saturday at the Zylofon office in Kumasi spoke his mind and heavily criticised Kumasi Journalist on how they report on Kumawood movies and yet take little to none actions to improve Kumawood.
Bill Asamoah was speaking at first press soiree in 2018 for media men in the city organized by Zylofon Media. According to him, entertainment critics make them feel their work is rubbish meanwhile they never and have never suggested a better way forward. They only enjoy criticising and it makes no sense.

The actor further directed them to direct their grievance about the industry towards the government and not to sit on a radio or in their offices to rant. He added that they should be productive in pushing for the government to improve the industry.
“How many of our people here, in this room who call themselves entertainment whatever have been able to even push this (L.I) on the radio? We are in Kumasi but we have been able to shoot movies,” Bill said

“We know some of you. We know what you do. Some of you are here in Kumasi and call yourselves artiste managers but what have you done?” he added
