Ace hiplife recording artist, Sidney Kofi Ofori, popularly known as Barima Sidney has revealed that he has been getting threats with a lawsuit by some nameless NDC personalities.

In an interview on Beatwaves, Sidney stated that these unknown NDC personalities have threatened him through phone calls ever since he released his trending song ‘Papa No’.

The musician, a couple of days ago capitalized on the popular phrase ‘Papa No’ used in the apparently never-ending vendetta between actress Tracey Boakye and Mzbel.

He used the ‘Papa No’ phrase to release the song and it has already gained massive airplay.

Eventually, some NPP foot soldiers have already approved the song and it is clearly because John Mahama’s name popped up during the fight between Tracey Boakye and Mzbel.

But the “African Money” hitmaker has reportedly been threatened by a number of personalities of the NDC ever since he released the provocative song.

He however indicated that the NDC and its followers think the song was released deliberately to damage the image of the flagbearer of the party, John Mahama.

Barima Sidney denied claims by the NDC that his song was released to discredit the reputation and integrity of John Mahama, stating that the sole aim of the song is for entertainment and not for politics.

He also debunked allegations by the NDC that he attached the picture of NDC personalities when he released the song adding that the video of the song is still in the studio and hasn’t been released yet.
