Former Ghanaian BlackStar and Rosenberg midfielder, Anthony Annan is seeking a divorce from his wife, Gifty Annan and also requesting a DNA Paternity test because he believes the children with his wife, Gifty are not his.
A couple of years ago, Former Blackstars player, Nii Odartey Lamptey found out his 18 years of marriage to Gloria Lamptey, his wife was a sham and all the 3 children born out of the marriage were not his biological children after a paternity test was conducted.

It appears Anthony Annan finds himself in a similar situation and he is demanding not only for a divorce but DNA test be conducted on his children.
Gifty Annan, the wife of Anthony Annan in an interview with Happy FM revealed the cracks in their marriage and how despite the family intervening, the footballer insists he wants the divorce and the test.

“The problem began when I realized he had a child outside our marriage, Anthony Annan claims our kids are not his and wants a DNA Test. We have had several family meetings to resolve the marital issues but to no avail,” Gifty told Happy FM.
