Anthony Joshua goes back to Nigeria to register for a National ID card

Popular British based Nigerian boxer Anthony Joshua has returned to Nigeria to register for a national ID card.

The two-time world heavyweight champion visited his hometown Sagamu in Ogun state in Nigeria yesterday Wednesday, February 19, where he was given a heroic welcome by his kinsmen.

This happens to be the boxer’s second time of visiting the country in less than seven (7) months after visiting earlier ahead of his bout with heavyweight star Andy Ruiz Jr.

Joshua arrived in Nigeria probably on Wednesday morning, and the pugilist quickly took to work by getting himself enrolled into the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) data, though the process was dragged into the whirlpool of criticism.

Ther boxing superstar visited the president and has registered as a Nigerian.
