Sarkodie’s remarks came after allegations that Kesse was paid just 20 cedis for working on the Azonto Fiesta song with Sarkodie and Appietus.

Replying to these allegations, Sarkodie, revealed in a tweet that the song was not his and he made no monetary gains what so ever from the song.

In response to Sarkodie’s claims, Appietus in an interview with Hitz FM’s Prince Tsegah said;

Sarkodie made money from the song. Sarkodie performed this particular song on many stages, and every stage they payed him before he performed, and once he always went on stage and performed this song, that’s money he was also making from the song, and so he shouldn’t come out and be saying he didn’t make penny off the song”

The whole situation seems controversial as each party seems to have different opinions regarding the subject.
