Former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger visits former Pres. Kufuor in Ghana

Former Arsenal boss, Arsene Wenger paid a courtesy call on the former president of Ghana, John Agyekum Kufuor at his residence in Ghana on 24 August 2018 and the former president just shared a photo from their meeting.

Prior to their meeting in Ghana at the home of John Agyekum Kufuor, the two global icons met in Liberia on the invitation of the president of Liberia, President George Oppong Weah.

When George Oppong Weah played at Monaco, his coach at the football club was Arsene Wenger before he moved to Arsenal.

Arsene Wenger meets John Agyekum Kufuor in Ghana

President George Oppong Weah honored Arsene Wenger with the highest honor of Liberia. He was inducted into the “Order of Distinction” by George Weah. He was again honored with the title of Knight Grand Commander of the Humane Order of African Redemption.

President John Agyekum Kufuor at the same event was also honored with the “Most Venerable Order of the Pioneers Honor”; He received the “Collar of State”.

It was after this event that Arsene Wenger paid a visit to the former president in Ghana. Former president John Agyekum shared the photo on his Twitter handle just recently.
