The much-awaited DNA test between Blackstars skipper Asamoah Gyan and his embattled wife Gifty Gyan has been scheduled to finally take place after the court decided to have the test conducted at a trusted private hospital in Accra on 26th December 2018 contrary to Mrs Gyan’s proposal.
Earlier Gifty who was scared the family of the footballer could influence the result of the test proposed that the test is carried out at police Hospital under CID supervision to ensure the results was not tampered with. Another proposal emerged for the test to be conducted abroad which was also not accepted.

A family source has also revealed that Asamoah Gyan had finally admitted that he “ordered” his elder brother Baffour Gyan to file for the DNA request on his behalf as he was out of jurisdiction at the time, expressing worry about attacks on his brother as a “home-breaker”, eyeing his properties.
The source continued that it was not yet clear what “secret” evidence Asamoah Gyan and his brother have against Mrs. Gifty Gyan regarding the paternity of the Asamoah’s three children, but the Gyan brothers have insisted that they are very sure they will be vindicated if the DNA test were conducted immediately.
So far, the DNA test which was supposed to take place on the 19th November, 2018 was rescheduled on the request of Baffour Gyan, acting on the authority of his brother Asamoah Gyan.

The Blackstars captain has sued and asked the court to annul his marriage to Gifty with whom they have three kids.
The two have been married for 5 years but have been dating for the past 11 years. But the Ghanaian footballer is praying that the court cancels the marriage to make it look like they have never been married.
