The General captain of the senior national team, Asamoah Gyan today 28th May 2019 met Coach Kwesi Appiah to settle their differences.
The two have been at loggerheads with each other after Coach Kwesi Appiah appointed Andre Ayew as the new captain of the team to lead Ghana to AFCON 2019 in Egypt.

However, the striker had a cordial meeting with Coach Kwesi Appiah today and shared some pictures on his Twitter handle.
He tweeted; “Met Coach today…Great Famly…Ghana our Beloved Country is first”.

This meeting follows the decision made by Kwesi Appiah to make Andre Ayew the Captain of the Black Stars.
This decision infuriated Asamoah Gyan and announced his retirement from the senior national team.
He, however, rescinded his decision after the President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo held a meeting with him and Kwesi Appiah.
