Asamoah Gyan retires from the National Team over captaincy dispute

Ghana Blackstars Skipper, Captain Asamoah Gyan has recused himself from the AFCON 2019 and has also made his decision to retire from the National Team made public.

Few days for Coach Akwasi Appiah to named his 23 man squad for the AFCON 2019, Asamoah Gyan says he is done with Ghana football.

The decision comes from a dispute he seems to be having with the coach of the senior national team, Akwasi Appiah over his captaincy.
