Ghpage.com reported earlier to you that, Asante Kotoko equipment officer was the only person died during the fatal accident but recently released report confirms that there is another death recorded.
The driver’s mate of the Kumasi Asante Kotoko Football team bus has also been confirmed dead, making the number of causalities recorded in the fatal accident which occurred on Wednesday night at Nkawkaw in the Eastern Region to shoot to two(2) after earlier confirmation of the death of Thomas Obeng Asare, the equipment officer.
Their bodies have been deposited at the Holy Trinity Morgue in Nkawkaw.
Micheal Akuffu, Awudu Naffiu, Osei Agyemang, Ashitey Ollenu, Evans Quao, Baba Mahama, Ahmed Adams and Isaac Amoako are the players who also suffered various levels of injuries.
                               An Injured PlayerHead coach Steve Polack(who was sitting behind the driver) and team manager Godwin Ablordey suffered serious injuries as they got trapped after the collision.
The Fantabulous Porcupine Warriors had been dealt a huge blow by Inter Allies with 1:o defeat in the league and it turned worse after the bus encountered the unfortunate incident when they were returning to Kumasi.
Most of the players and the management members in the Youtong suffered injuries as result and were rushed to the Holy Family Hospital for treatment, most of them were later referred to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital except four who are still on admission at the facility in Nkawkaw.
The team was heading to Kumasi for preparation ahead of another clash with arch rivals, Accra Hearts of Oak and plunged into an immovable vehicle resulting in the accident.
