Photos and videos of an accident that happened today at the Ashaiman market are fast going viral and most Ghanaians have been saddened by the unfortunate incident.

A Truck loaded with cement run into the Ashaiman market causing serious damage to life and properties.

The accident as reported, happened around 10: AM today, Thursday 26th July 2018 at Ashaiman in the Ashaiman Municipal Assembly in the Greater Accra Region.

A Kia Track with the registration number, ER 5112 X loaded with cement failed a break and run into traders along the Ashaiman Market.

As it stands now, only one person has been reported dead but several people have suffered severe injuries. 6 cars are reported destroyed.

The deceased person has been conveyed to the morgue whiles the injured people have been sent to the hospital receiving treatment.

The police have since cordoned off the area. But the driver of the Kia Truck who was seen shouting “oow oow oow” in the video going viral absconded during the chaos for fear of his life and possible jail term.

The police are currently on the manhunt for the driver whiles investigations into the accident continues.
