“Ashiaman MP Ernest Norgbey always threatens to beat me up in parliament, I’m scared” – Afenyo Markins laments 

Deputy Majority Leader Lawyer Afenyo Markins has cried about his safety in parliament.

According to him, he fears for his life following constant threats from MP for Ashaiman, Ernest Norgbey to beat him up.

In an exclusive interview, the Effutu MP said he fears for his life in parliament since Ernest Norbgey has made his intentions of beating him up known.

“Small thing he say he’ll beat you. Small thing he’ll beat you, he cried.

Ernest Norgbey has been described as a forceful legislator who commands some level of admiration for his bravery and bold demeanour.

He is famous for pulling the seat of the Speaker when pandemonium erupted in parliament following the disagreement over the approval of the 2022 Budget statement.
