Awal Suleman, the Ghanaian nurse who invaded the Ghana vs South Africa pitch in cape coast has been fined GH¢2400 by the Cape Coast Circuit Court; in default will serve 3 months in prison.
Besides the punitive measures from the court, Awal Suleman will again be made to sign a bond of good behavior.

The pitch invader was charged with two counts; Disturbing public peace and resisting arrest.
Awal Suleman invaded the Cape Coast Stadium pitch during a match between Ghana Black Stars and South Africa and in a game that saw Ghana winning 2-0 on Thursday, 14th November 2019.

According to the Nalerigu Nursing Training College student, he wanted a selfie with his icon, Thomas Partey, the Atletico Madrid star
Already there are calls from Ghanaians asking the court to drop all charges and free the young man who only wanted a selfie with his star player.

Some of the people leading the call are Asamoah Gyan, the General Captain of the Ghana Blacks Stars and Dede Ayew, the captain of the Ghana Black Stars.
