Ghpage.com can confirm that Veteran Ghanaian highlife musician, Awurama Badu has passed away in the late hours of Thursday 26th October 2017 at her hometown in Effiduasi in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.
The aged sensational highlife veteran has been battling sickness for the past few years and was hardly seen in public.
Information reaching Ghpage.com has it that, Awurama Badu was rushed to the Effiduase Government Hospital in the Sekyere East District of the Ashanti Region last night but she couldn’t survive and passed away.
Awurama Badu is famous for songs such as “Medofo adaada me, koomkom na ma ye, aboa aponkyireni, Obaatan Refre Ne Mma” etc. She will be missed by Ghanaians and every good highlife music lover across the world
