The rivalry between Bukom Banku and Ayitey Powers goes a long way back and both boxers had to finally settle their differences in the ring twice, with Banku defeating powers in both bouts.
Ayittey Powers in a video recorded video on Facebook has added his voice to the barrage of mockery on Bukom Banku after his defeat to Samir Bastie on the Saturday bout.
According to Powers, he was even aware after the bout that, Banku was going to lose the fresh blood and very hungry fighter, Samir Bastie.

The boxer who can be heard speaking in a native language, Ga, expressed how Bukom Banku had finally met his ‘meeter’which literally means he has met someone who has finally defeated and silenced him.

Before the bout, Bukom Banku had promised to defeat his opponent in Round 6 but he ended up being the sent to the floor after a heavy punch on his face in the 7th Round.

The boxing night drew thousands of enthusiasts including former boxing champions, Ike Quartey and Azumah Nelson —Musician Mzbel with the support of her dancers also put in a splendid performance on the night.
