Founder and leader of Glorious Wave Church International, Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi has responded to allegations leveled against him by his spiritual father Rev Owusu Bempah—That he several others.
Speaking in an interview on Kofi Tv, Rev Badu Kobi expressed that, he has known Owusu Bempah for a long time and he was the one who gave him his first car when he was going to wed his first wife, Maame Justine.
According to him, he wanted to take Pastor Salifu Amoako as his spiritual father but God told him to pick Owusu Bempah instead.
Prophet Emmanuel Badu KobiZeroing in on a possible occultism as Owusu Bempah had only said, he is in the company of certain people that are causing all the confusion, he expressed;
“I was born in the church of Pentecost and I grew up in Pentecost, I fear the Lord and there are certain happenings I don’t understand which I don’t even know what to say. I do not believe in juju, only God.”
He added that ‘his focus is his assignment’ and there is no competition between him and any other pastor neither is he challenging any pastor.
Rev Owusu BempahOn the suspicion that, he knows something about the circulating audio wherein it a woman alleged Owusu Bempah has slept with her and her daughter.
He said;
“Surprisingly, for two days I was not around when all these issues arose.I listened to the audio and the person speaking said, that Pastor Kobi, when you are criticizing his father…so I don’t understand.I have said that I don’t know anything about it but…I don’t know what is going on.”
On Owusu Bempah’s allegation that he has conspired with the woman who spoke in the audio, he responded;
“It was recently, I located the person and I called her to stop that.She came to plead in the presence of my other pastors and told me she has personal issues to settle with Owusu Bempah and because of that, won’t even attend my church again.”
