Baffour Gyan begs court to postpone DNA test date

It’s no more news that blackstars skipper Asamoah Gyan is in court to annul his marriage from his wife Gifty Gyan and has also through his brother Baffour Gyan requested that a DNA test is conducted on their kids to prove that they were his biological children.

Well, both parties were in court where Asamoah Gyan through his brother Baffour Gyan asked that the planned day for the DNA test be postponed since his brother would be available on national duties in the Afcon 2019 qualifiers.

The DNA Test which was scheduled take place on the 19th November, 2018 but during that time Asamoah was away representing Ghana against Ethiopia.

On the day of the match, Asamoah Gyan failed to play with sources disclosing that the coach saw him as “mentally unfit”, a fact Asamoah Gyan has rejected vehemently but stated he was a used substitute for “tactical reasons” and not because he was unfit in any way.

Meanwhile, wife of Asamaoh Gyan is reportedly calling for the DNA Test to be conducted at the Police Hospital under the supervision of officials from the Criminal Investigations Department, instead of the private hospital, Baffour Gyan is proposing. According to a source to close the family, she is afraid “something can happen somewhere for the results to be tampered with” if not done “under strictly supervised” and impartial conditions.
