On their explanation of why they had their traditional wedding in Lagos rather not in Benin city which was supposed to be the venue, Adesua said,

“All my family members are in Lagos. Every one of them”.

They added that they opted for Lagos so as to make it convenient for everyone who wanted to be at their wedding.

On their wedding day in South Africa, Adesua described the moment as the Happiest day of her life.
