A bartender identified Esi Affumwaa is currently in the grips of the police for biting off the testicles of a customer over 20 pesewas.
According to the information gathered, the victim is identified as Osman, 36, bought a cigarette from Esi for an amount of Ghc1.20 but requested to pay 1 while promising to pay the balance later.
Esi, who was unhappy with Osman’s decision, demanded that he add the 20 pesewas leading to a heated argument and finally escalating into a physical altercation.
Osman suffered serious injuries after Affumwaa allegedly chewed off his testicles during the altercation.
The incident had an impact on both people; Affumwaa was placed under police custody for additional investigation, while Osman received medical attention.
While investigations are ongoing, authorities have not yet issued an official comment on the subject.
