Mercy has just been emerged winner of the 5th season of popular reality Tv show, Big Brother Naija as it has just come to an end today 6th of September, 2019.
BBNaija Season 5 dubbed ‘Pepper dem’ initially began with 21 housemates until 5 new housemates were subsequently introduced during the course of the show making 26 housemates.
Each week housemates were evicted until it was left with 5 housemates whom appeared on the grand finale today. They were Mike, Frodd, Mercy, Seyi and Omashola.
Seyi, Omashola and Frodd were then evicted by big brother leaving Mercy and Mike to battle for the cash prize of 60,000,000 Naira.
Mike was Subsequently evicted by Big Brother making Mercy the winner of the show. Mercy has set a record as she is the first female winner of the reality tv show. The winner of the competition is chosen based on polls. Fans of the contestants vote to keep their favorite housemate in the game.
Apparently Mercy’s fans voted more than fans of other contestants as she had Whooping 41.77% of the votes whilst Mike in second place had 19.94% votes. An overwhelming victory we must say.
