Ghanaian singer Rebecca Acheampong, professionally known as Becca, says her educational dreams will not stop at bagging a Master’s Degree.
The musician studied Brands and Communication at the University of Professional Studies (UPSA) and graduated Tuesday with a GPA of 3.92, making her this year’s Overall Best Student and a valedictorian.
During a dinner held for the singer for coming top of her class, she disclosed that she was going to pursue her PhD soon.
Becca revealed this when Angel FM presenter, Okyeame Quophi, in a video shared on Instagram lauded her saying, “Congratulations darling, we know you are smart.”
In response, she said “I’m actually going to do my PhD. I need about six years to do it because I can’t do that four years thing.”
Becca completed SHS at Wesley Girls Senior High School before enrolling at Croydon College in the UK to study Child Care education.
Later, she returned to Ghana and enrolled at GIMPA, where she majored in operations and project management and received a First Class Honors degree.
